AMSTERDAM ZOUK VIBES JOINS SUMMER BREEZE LATIN NIGHT AT WESTERGASTERRAS / #11 

IMPORTANT INFORMATION : The first party of our weekend starts at these amazing latin event in Amsterdam. The zouk room is available from 19:00 till 23:00, after that  there is bachata on the floor, meaning the zouk room end at 23:00 but you can still enjoy the party until 02:00. You can also go dance salsa and bachata on the other rooms.

🌴 Summer Breeze is back on the Westergasterras!

After the mandatory corona break of 2 summers, it will be the 16th summer in 2022 that Summer Breeze will transform the Westergasterras into wonderful Latin atmospheres every week!

 

💃🕺 SUMMER BREEZE LATIN NIGHT

The weekly, sultry, summery Thursday evening Summer Breeze has been bringing a wonderful Latin vibe to Amsterdam's Westergasterras for 15 years.

Enjoy the many different Latin music styles (in 4 areas), the dance moves, the cocktails, the stroll, the tasty snacks and of course the sun!

We start every week at 19:00 outside in the sun on the Klönneplein with "free" dancing while the beginners can work on their dance skills in the WesterLiefde and the WesterUnie where (free) workshops take place for beginners and advanced in the different Latin -styles (including Salsa, Zouk, Bachata, Kizomba).

At 23:00 the music stops outside on the square and the party continues for hours in the Westergasterras, the WesterLiefde and the WesterUnie.

 

☔️ RAIN / BAD WEATHER

Summer Breeze continues even in bad weather. In that case, the outside area will expire.

 

🎼 PROGRAM

Every edition during Summer Breeze, a mix of different Latin music styles is programmed, including Salsa, Bachata, Kizomba, Merengue, Zouk, Caribbean Mix, Swingbeat, Reggaeton. The styles of the workshops for beginners and advanced also differ weekly.

Please note: Summer Breeze is full almost every week around 9pm. From then on, the rule 1 out is 1 in. We will not let anyone in after 10:45 PM.

This event is completely pin-only. Only the bar inside on the Westergasterras accepts cash.

 

🍹 DRINK

The tastiest cocktails and drinks are available at all bars.

 

♻️💚 HARD CUPS

This year we will again be working with a deposit for hard cups and bottles. Upon arrival you will receive the first deposit coin from us. With this you do not have to pay for your first cup. Then you can exchange the cup for a coin, if you want to dance again, for example, or for a new drink. Lost cup/bottle?

A new cup or bottle costs € 1,-.

Delicious snacks are available at our food stand.

Lockers are available.

We like to keep the park clean and give our neighbors a good night's sleep. When you leave Summer Breeze, take into account the night's sleep of our neighbors and keep the park tidy.

 

🚕 🚲🏍 PARKING

The Westergasterras is located on the Westergas. This is a car and motorbike/scooter-free park. Cars can be parked at Q-Park Westerpark or on the street. Motorbikes and scooters must be parked immediately after the bridges.

Cyclists can park their bicycles in the bicycle racks.

 

 

HISTORY

Summer Breeze started in 1995 on a small scale with a handful of Salsa Lovers in the Vondelpark. Summer Breeze has been a household name in Latin Amsterdam and far beyond on the Westergasterras for the past 15 years. Every week thousands of Latin music lovers from all over the country come to Amsterdam.
